# Additional Perks

xPT initially exists as metadata on your PSP, but on November 29th 2023 it will be automatically converted into on-chain PT tokens on a 1:1 basis. 25% of this converted PT will be unlocked at TGE, while the remaining 75% is distributed weekly over a 3 week period. \

Prior to TGE, xPT holders might also enjoy an additional privilege to qualify as Phemex VIPs and enjoy discounted trading fees.  VIP upgrades gained from xPT balance will last until the end of the pre-mining event. Users can visit the [VIP Portal](https://phemex.com/vip-portal) to check which level their account currently meets.
